ABOUT US
Our Mission at Southwest Creative studio is to empower youth and build community by providing a pathway to healing through the arts. Since 2021, our non-profit organization has been providing opportunities for families, youth, and adults to engage with arts to build stronger communities in the South and Southwest Sides of Chicago where access to the arts is historically scarce. We offer youth mentorship, after-school and in-school arts education programs, large-scale, community-led beautification projects, free and consistent access to engaging in the arts, storefront revitalization initiatives aimed at reinvestment in our neighborhoods, and growing a network of artists connected to opportunities all across the city.
